Day 1 | June 25th, 2018
It was a beautiful, clear Colorado day and we were finally set to begin our journey.
Day 6 (continued)
We left Breckenridge in the early evening and took the free bus to the Goldhill Trailhead. We hiked just a few miles up the next climb and set up camp in a clearing of lodgepole pine.
Day 12 | July 6
This morning we said goodbye to Jive and continued to follow the Colorado Trail along the east side of the Collegiate Peaks.
Day 15 | July 9, 2018
This morning we hiked up a dirt road which led to the base of Monarch Pass.
Day 27 | July 21, 2018
We spent the morning sitting at a real table, eating leftovers, and working on a crossword puzzle.
Day 31 | July 25, 2018
Starting this final section is exciting not just because we are so close to the end, but because I wasn't sure whether or not this part of the trail would be open for us to hike.
